Sod Size & Variety
An instant lush lawn
Our sod is 100% Kentucky Bluegrass.
Sod is sold by a roll which measures 2ft wide and 5ft long; 10 square feet of coverage.
Each roll is approx. 3/4″ thick.
Weight varies depending on moisture, but on average, 1 roll weights 30-40 lbs.
It is recommended to pre-order.
Pickup: 1-3 days & Delivery: minimum 4 days.
*More notice is required in the busy spring season (May & June) or for Friday/Saturdays.
When picking up sod, come prepared to load your own (especially small amounts)
Sod is perishable so make sure your area is fully prepared and ready to lay the sod the same day you receive it then begin watering.

Young Sod Farms selects 5 varieties of bluegrass that show the strongest traits through years of trials. These varieties are chosen for traits such as: drought tolerance, disease resistance, durable root growth, colour, and winter tolerance. Young Sod Farms is proud to continue the tradition of blending the 5 varieties ourselves prior to planting.
We do not provide installation services, however we can recommend landscapers for you.
